Best solar charge controller for off grid setup?

Hi everyone,
I am struggling to find the best solar charge controller for my small off grid system. I spend last few weeks reading reviews on blogs like Wirecutter, Lifewire, TechRadar and also scrolling many forums and reddit threads. Honestly it got me more confused because each person got different opinion.
After all that research I see mostly people recommend these two models:

  • Ultimate-MPPT Brand Solar Charge Controllers [www.amazon.com/Ultimate-MPPT- Controllers-Advanced]

  • HQST 100A MPPT Solar Charge Controller [www.amazon.com/HQST-Controller- Grounding-]

    Both looks solid, I checked spec sheets and features, also tons of reviews on different blogs are very positive. But still I am not sure which one is really better for long term use.
    Has anyone here tried any of these two? Which one do you think is more reliable for daily off grid use and better value for money?
    Both have tons of reviews, features are amazing but I really need your help to decide. thanks in advance

If you provide your AC & DC loads from a Bluetti, you don’t need a controller, it’s inbuilt. :smile:

mandp, I think these are spam threads. they keep turning up and don’t exactly have anything to do directly with Bluetti products.

@doecliff You’re probably correct, I was suspicious with this and others asking for product advice that has nothing to do with Bluetti. Cheeky way of linking other product advertising.
Bluetti Admin need to delete suspicious posts :slight_smile:
