In the Bluetti app, tab forum I see that there has been a poll about the (dis)continuation about the Bluetti B300 battery. I’m not active on the forum via the app and I cannot find the thread here. I would love to have given my opinion as AC300+B300 user. Do you have a link to the post so I can view it on my PC? Or is it an entirely different forum that is separate from this forum? If yes, I would appreciate that posts like that one about the (dis)continuation of the B300 battery is also being posted here, accessible for PC users. Thank you.
@TheQuickFox
The mobile version of the APP’s forum operates independently from this forum community, so if you want to vote and express your thoughts, you need to go to the BLUETTI APP forum to do so. :)
Thanks for the answer. I’m not active there. I mostly use the app occasionally, mostly to check and apply firmware updates. Especially reading forums and typing replies I greatly prefer to to on a PC with a larger screen and a real keyboard.
So please consider posting important questions and polls not just on the app forum but here as well. Thank you.
But to be short: In December last year I noticed that most Bluetti dealers had stopped selling the B300 battery. Because I already had one and wanted to expand with the same batteries I was lucky to find a dealer that could order one for me. (Thread here) So I think it is nice to see them not being discontinued for AC300 users who like to expand with the same batteries that they already have.
I consulted the APP team and learned that it was just a vote; the team cannot decide whether to allow the B300 to be produced on a small scale again.
However, APP team will convey all the thoughts to the product team.
For your information, the B300 battery is still available on the Bluetti Canada website
For now I’m satisfied with the expansion that I have. But a Canadian supplier is not a good option for me because I live in The Netherlands. The one I managed to buy in December was from a Dutch dealer that sourced it from Germany.
The B300 is even more useful now because I heard it supports 6 battery mode on the Apex300 and is no longer limited to 4. It also has a lot of DC inverter options like USB-C and cigarette port it will make an excellent companion for the Apex300 which lacks the DC inverter for people without the DC addon hub.
