AC180 Noisy Fan Operation

Hi I am experiencing the same noisy fan issue using ups, can you please deploy this fix to AC1802316000315762

@bluetti_aersantoroicloudcom Could you please provide me with the current firmware version so the firmware can be directed?

@DLM Could you please provide me with the current firmware version so the firmware can be directed?

I will check with our technician. If there is any update, I will let you know ASAP.

Thanks @BLUETTI_CARE I’m not sure which you need but the versions are:
ARM v2074.05
DSP v2078.04
BMS v1033.05

@DLM Yes, it is what I want. Thank you.

Hi,

Appreciate your reply, the versions are:

ARM
Current Version:
V2074.05
DSP
Current Version:
V2078.04
BMS
V1033.05

Thanks in advance

It is a good sign that the fans do come on in UPS bypass mode. The EB3A has an issue where the fans never come on in UPS bypass mode leading to overheat. I had to glue my own fans on the case.

Now, a more general ramp would be nice to avoid full blast when it gets too hot.

Hope this update would come to the EB3A as well someday.

Hello,

I have the same issue where my AC 180 will turn on every 5mins or so and blast the fans.
It happens when battery is 100%, unit off and connected to AC power outlet with nothing connected to Bluetti output ports at all.

SN 2316002387769
ARM v2073.03
DSP v2077.04
BMS v1033.05

Thank you for looking into this as I was also hoping to use this as medical device UPS and it’s a not acceptable to have the unit turn on so loudly every few minutes. Very disappointing if can’t be resolved.

@garo @jakubx80 Well received. The software update will be sent in 6 hrs, then you can try to update it to check if the problem can be solved.

@DJR Sorry for my late reply. Under UPS mode, the AC180 is not completely shut down, it is always in standby. In this way, when your power grid fails, the inverter can quickly cut in and continue to supply power to the load. This is how UPS works. If the inverter is completely shut down during the bypass, then when the power grid fails, the inverter will not be able to start up in a short time (within 20ms) and cut in to supply power to the load. Just because the inverter is always in standby, the internal temperature of the machine will still rise, and there will be self-consumption.
