Hello
Has anyone found a good workaround to get the AC180 to charge from the bed of a Jeep Gladiator? The Gladiator has an “up to 400 watt” outlet running at 115VAC but either due to too low wattage or not a pure sine signal, the AC180 will not charge from that outlet.
I have seen a couple of posts about using the T500 as an AC to DC convertor and using that to charge the AC180 but I have not seen any posts to confirm that this works.
Any help / insight / ideas would be terrific.
Thanks for the help.
Matt
What is the behavior when you try to charge it? I have high confidence the T500 would probably solve the issue.

BLUETTI will be releasing an Alternator Charger - Charger 1 on 9/25, which is a perfect match for you in this usage scenario. You can visit this thread to learn more.
The grid light comes on but it blinks. You can hear the AC180 trying to take the charge but it just won’t. I switched to silent charging and grid stabilization but having both of those on didn’t help either. I do think it has to do with either too low wattage or not a pure sine signal coming from the Jeep ac outlet. I think the T500 could be helpful as well but as of now, Bluetti support is saying it won’t work.
Thanks for the help.
Thank you. Looking forward to more information coming out on this tomorrow.
